The Purse Card:
A bank card that manages your money. All transactions, payroll and even taxes are dealt directly through the card.
Made from Icitonium and Baffinite, the same materials used in fabricating armor.
Other Features
- Genetic lock prevents theft and unauthorized transactions.Â
- Stores medical data.
- Identification and passport.
- Investment management.
Commemorative Notes
Printed on the same material as the Purse Card. The notes are paper thin, rigid and 85.6 mm wide by 53.98 mm high, the size of a credit card.
The commemorative bills are still legal tender but the Purse Card changed all of that. No new bills have been issued.
Controversy
The commemorative bills have been known to be the chosen form of payment between parties who choose not to report income, expenses or pay taxes.
Banks have been on high alert since then. Many of these banks adopted a policy of not accepting deposits exceeding 5,000 Loonies.
